June 2007 Performances
with Sabine Akiko Ahrendt
Salecich's work 101010001012(1012) was recently performed twice, in Strasbourg, France, this June.
A stunning performance was given by violinist Sabine Akiko Ahrendt, along with works from Arthur Campela's Elastics II for viola, as played by guitarist (!) Pablo Marquez, later joined by flutist Mario Caroli for Kampela's Percussion Study V, and Karlheinz Stockhausen's trailblazing Mikrophonie I, a symphonie électronique for huge Tam-Tam, various hitting, scraping and bowed instruments, and microphone, with four percussionists, and sound filters.
The Musée D'Art Moderne Et Contemporain provided a fantastic space and atmosphere.
